NBBC On-line Training Tuesday and Thursday, April 8th and 10th, 2025 6pm-8pm CST We are looking for dedicated volunteers. The NBBC survey frequency is annually, a minimum of every other week, May 1st through September 30th. Please be aware of the commitment when registering for this workshop. Survey locations and routes will be determined by you. Nebraska’s Big Butterfly Count is a community science project, developed to collect statewide data in order to better understand butterfly diversity across Nebraska. At this on-line workshop you will gain an understanding of community science, how to identify eastern/central Nebraska butterflies, and learn how you can contribute to Nebraska's Big Butterfly Count. Participants will receive project resources, guidance, and support from community science project leaders. *Attendance on both dates and one associated field day is required We are looking for dedicated volunteers. The NBBC survey frequency is annually, a minimum of every other week, May 1st through September 30th. This community science project is in collaboration with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, Nebraska Master Naturalist, and the Nebraska Natural Legacy Project.
